Dedication of Additional Interpretative Signs

for Alexander H. Willard

Saturday, October 8, 2016

Platteville, Wisconsin

The Badger State Chapter has been working for a number of years to locate, identify and mark the locations where Alexander Willard and his family lived in Wisconsin.  The Chapter is in the final stages of planning for public ceremonies to dedicate interpretive signs to mark these locations.  The signs have been ordered and one has already been received.  The date will be Saturday, October 8, 2016.

There are three locations where signs will be located and the chapter intends to have a dedication ceremony at each one.  One is within the city of Platteville and two are in rural settings.

For more information contact Jim Rosenberger, President, Badger State Chapter.  Jim may be reached by phone at 608-833-2488 or via email at punkinz@tds.net
